Stunning new images of a proposed 4,000-seater esports arena planned for Dundee have been released. In the week Dundee Contemporary Arts is hosting the SEL4 grand finals – Scotland’s premier esports event – the city’s potential future as the “Las Vegas” of competitive gaming has been revealed.
Operator Northern Lights Arena Europe said the venue, next to Slessor Gardens and within walking distance of the V&A, would be “Europe’s first truly digital enabled arena space”.
NLAE chairman Lord Michael Grade said: “As well as creating jobs the arena would represent a world-class experience.”
