New store in Overgate is already a hit

The Overgate Shopping Centre in Dundee has announced the opening of a new store in the lead-up to Christmas.

Menkind, one of the UK’S leading gift and gadget retailers, has arrived, opening in the former Tartan House unit and creating six jobs.

Establishe­d back in 2001, the multi-brand firm has more than 60 stores across the UK, specialisi­ng in a vast product range of original goodies for men, women and children.

From gadgets, stocking fillers, licensed merchandis­e and personalis­ed items to keepsake collectibl­es and the latest technology, the new store is already proving to be a hit with Dundonian shoppers.

Malcolm Angus, centre manager at the Overgate, said: “The reopening of Menkind really is perfectly timed as we start to head into the busy festive trading period at Overgate.

“This is a fantastic new addition to the centre’s retail offering and the store is already having a tremendous response from shoppers keen to secure highly original and interestin­g gift inspiratio­n.”
