Charity cyclathon go-getters honoured with civic reception
Cyclists, sponsors and organisers of the Rotary Dundee Cyclathon were honoured by Deputy Lord Provost Kevin Cordell at a civic event after raising £12,500 for charity, including £8,187 for the STV Children’s Appeal, the main beneficiary of this year’s efforts. The deputy lord provost praised the 150 cyclists who took part and paid tribute to 12 firms and Cycling Scotland who helped make the event, now in its 18th year, a financial success.
