Flu casts cloud on Christmas dinner

Christmas is fast hoving into view and it is set to be an austere one for many families.

A new concern is now centring on the traditional Christmas meal, which is under threat as a result of a growing bird flu crisis.

Turkey and eggs are already being rationed in some stores and there are concerns the issue may spread.

We must pray it does not or it will be a very dark Christmas for producers and consumers alike.
