Curling club’s members celebrate 150th anniversary on ice

Errol Curling Club gathered at Dewars Centre in Perth on Sunday to celebrate its 150th anniversary with a bonspiel tournament and meal at the ice rink. Established and admitted to the Royal Caledonian Curling Club in 1872, the club originally played on a pond in Lornie Wood, just to the west of Errol, then moved to play in Perth from 1937. Over the years, the club has nurtured the careers of several international curlers.
