Comedian Ó Briain announces city date

-

Comedian Dara Ó Briain is set to bring his new stand-up show to Dundee next year.

Best known as long-time host of Mock The Week, the Irish funnyman will appear at the Whitehall Theatre in April with the new routine, titled So, Where Were We?.

Two years on from his last tour, promotional material promises the comic’s usual mix of stories, one-liners and audience messing.

It says: “Yes, he’s back on tour, and he will never stop again, because that’s clearly what caused all this trouble. “Instead, in his new show So, Where Were We? Dara will hardly mention the last year and a half, because, Jesus, who wants to hear about that?

“Instead, Dara will fire out the usual mix of stories, oneliners, audience messing and tripping over his words by talking too quickly because he’s so giddy to be back in front of a crowd.”

Fans will be able to book tickets for the April 21 performance online soon.
