Beauty and the Beast with ‘Sheepie’ as star

Panto legend Ian “Sheepie” Smith will take to the stage along with Kevin Macleod and Anya Scott-rodgers of Funbox fame in this year’s festive show at the Alhambra Theatre in Dunfermline.

The trio are sure to bring family fun to their reworking of Beauty and the Beast.

Billed as a “tale as old as time with a magical twist”, the show opens on December 8 and runs until December 28.

According to Claire Jones of the Alhambra, “It is fantastic that we have Kevin and Anya joining the cast of Beauty and the Beast. We are so excited to see the fun, laughter and infectious enthusiasm they bring to the stage.

“Our panto audiences are in for a real treat.”

Fans of Funbox will know that Anya and Kevin are well-versed in creating shows bursting with laughter. The new production promises dazzling costumes, sets, and lots of laughs.
