NHS Tayside is to become the second health board in Scotland to adopt the RESPECT process, which allows individuals to create a personalised plan, detailing their treatment wishes should they need emergency care in the future.
The RESPECT plan, which stands for Recommended Summary Plan for Emergency Care and Treatment, has been developed by the Resuscitation Council UK, and it allows people to create personalised recommendations for their clinical care and treatment in a future emergency in the event that they are unable to make or express their own choices.
A Christmas Fair is to be held today in Aberlemno Village Hall in Angus from 10am until 1pm, with everyone welcome to come along.
There will be crafts, edible goodies, gifts, hot beverages and tasty homemade treats on offer.
The regeneration of Mill Street in Perth has won a prestigious national award at the Urbanism Awards 2022.
Convener of Perth and Kinross Council’s environment, infrastructure and economic development committee, Councillor Andrew Parrott said: “The creation of a cultural quarter in Mill Street has been so successful it can be hard to remember what the street was like before.”
● Award-winning photographer Shahbaz Majeed will speak in Dunfermline on December 7 as part of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society (RSGS) Inspiring People talks programme.
The talk will kick off at 7pm at Dunfermline High School, with tickets available to purchase on the RSGS website or on the door.
