Child hit by car outside town school
Emergency services are in attendance outside a school in Kirkcaldy after a child was hit by a car.
Police were called to the incident at 3.35pm yesterday at Overton Road, outside St Andrew’s RC High School.
An ambulance was also called to the scene. The road was able to reopen around 4.45pm.
It is not known if anyone has been injured or if the child involved is a pupil at the school.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At around 3.35pm on Friday, police were called to the Overton Road area of Kirkcaldy, following a report of a crash involving a car and a child pedestrian.
“Emergency services remain in the area and inquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
