SNP must accept the judgement of court

-

Sir, – The court has decided Holyrood has no power to hold another independence referendum.

The first minister and her team have been stamping on the ground, whinging and moaning about being denied democracy, and will seek to use the next general election for an illegal referendum.

She is totally tone-deaf to the current devastating situation the country is in.

When will the first minister and her cronies finally understand that democracy is accepting the results from 2014 when the majority said No, owning up to mistakes made during the run-up to the pandemic and Covid lockdowns – causing death and distress among the elderly, physically and mentally disabled in carehomes, owning up over the squandered millions on ferries which are five years overdue and way too expensive, and giving back to the public purse the millions squirrelled away for an Indyref2 set-up?

Maaike Cook.

Cash Feus,

Strathmiglo.
