Dance of time

Monifieth reader Kenneth Miln sets us another poser. “As night alternates with day,” he writes, “we, Earth’s sentient creatures, dance to time’s arcane rhythm while unseen atoms gyrate in play.

“With ever increasing frenzy we step, leap and whirl to a most singular beat, a rhythm from which there seems no retreat.

“Is it without a sense of direction that we embrace this carnival of chance, or is it the rhythm of blind faith to which we dance?”
