Displaced Ukrainians enjoy capital day out in Edinburgh

Ukrainians who have settled in Perth and Kinross have enjoyed a trip to Edinburgh Castle. Forty people fleeing the Russian invasion of their homeland travelled down in three minibuses organised by Councillor Steven Carr, with volunteer drivers Matt Mccullagh and Dave Sparling helping out. Mr Carr said: “We were back in time for the fireworks and Christmas lights switch-on in Perth. It was a really good night.”
