Woman charged over alleged street robbery

A woman has been charged over the alleged theft of cash from a 68-year-old man in Perth.

Police were called to North Methven Street on November 19 following the incident, in which a two-figure sum of money was said to have been stolen.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Following our appeal for information after a man was robbed in Perth, a 31-year-old woman has been arrested.

“The incident happened around 4.30pm outside a bar on North Methven Street, Perth.”
