SWANS FLY IN FOR CLASH

Dundee United will face Swansea City as they gear up for the second half of the season.

The Swans, who defeated Hearts in a bounce game yesterday afternoon, will visit Tannadice on Saturday.

It will represent swift return to Tayside for ex-united academy director Andy Goldie, who is now occupying the same role in the south of Wales.

Former Falkirk midfielder Jay Fulton is a Swansea regular, while they are bossed by former Scotland and Rangers defender Russell Martin.

United, currently at the foot of the Premiershi­p, then host Scottish Championsh­ip leaders Ayr United on December 10.

The Tangerines resume their league campaign on December 17 with a testing trip to Livingston.
