Montrose and District Floral Art Club are to hold a demonstrat­ion, entitled Midwinter Magic on Tuesday at the George Hotel in Montrose. All are welcome to come along at 7.30pm and listen to Julia Loudon from Earlsdon.

Windygates Accordion and Fiddle Club are holding a Christmas club night on December 14 in the Greig Institute, Leven.

All local and visiting players are welcome.

The Dundee Quaker Meeting House will be running two pop-up shops in the house on Whitehall Crescent for meeting house funds on December 3 and 10.

The stores will be open 10am-4pm, with the theme of Recycle, Re-purpose and Re-use.

Markinch Heritage Group host a folk tale session tonight, presented by Sheila Kinninmont­h, exploring Fife’s rich supernatur­al history.

It will be held at 7pm at the Memorial Hall, with a £2 entrance fee for non-members.

The 15th Fife Scouts are to deliver Christmas cards across Freuchie and the following villages – Pitlessie, Newton, Kingskettl­e, Balmacolm and Strathmigl­o from today to December 16 at the Spar. It is 40p per card and all proceeds go to Freuchie Scout Group.

Cupar Golf Club is offering to deliver Christmas cards across the town, with a donation of just 35p going towards supporting the club.

Residents can drop off cards for December 19 into the collection points of Gilmour’s, Newsagents, 94 Bonnygate; Libo’s Fish and Chips, 124 Bonnygate; and Caring for Cupar, 54 Crossgate; or at Cupar Golf Club.

Freuchie Cricket Club AGM takes place on December 11 at 2pm in the David Christie Pavilion, Muir Road.
