Drunken girl kicked two officers in groin

A teenage girl who kicked two police officers in the groin has been ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.

Gracie Mills, 18, was part of a group of youths drinking in an underpass near the A9. Officers had arrived to break them up.

Perth Sheriff Court was told one of the officers was left in “extreme pain” as he had recently undergone “a procedure” in the area she kicked.

Fiscal depute Larissa Milligan told the court: “Due to her level of intoxicati­on and her behaviour the accused was advised she was being arrested.

“The accused kicked out behind her, landing a blow to the constable’s t ******** .

“As she was led towards the van, she again kicked out behind her, connecting with another officer’s t ******** .”

Mills, of Fechney Park, Perth, admitted three charges of police assault – injuring two officers – by kicking them on the body on April 8 2021.
