First Suffolk supreme sale at Lanark Market

Lawrie and Symington Ltd held the inaugural Suffolk supreme sale of in-lamb females and ewe hoggs at Lanark Market.

The sale topped at 2,600gns for a gimmer from Messrs Troupe, Whitestone.

Next at 1,700gns was a gimmer from Messrs Gibb, Cairnton, a daughter of Cairnton Prince. She sold carrying a pair to Bridgeview Belvenie, purchased by Messrs Currie, Haughhead, Hamilton.

This was closely followed at 1,600gns for the first from Cairnton, another Prince daughter. Principal prices:
