DUNBAR’S POOL PROWESS HELP SCOTS SCOOP EUROS
Perthshire pool player Scott Dunbar is part of the Scotland team which has retained the European Championship.
This is the third time the 52-year-old from Bridge of Earn has won the Euros with the team.
Scott has been Scottish Seniors No. 1 for the past four years and helped the Scottish team to win a World Championships bronze medal.
The self-employed joiner plays in the Perth Blackball League, where he has broken all the records.
His trophy haul is also the biggest in league history. Scott recently received a £200 grant from Perth and Kinross Sports Council.
Other recipients of £200 are Ava Marshall (Perth Junior netball), Chloe Mcnaughton (curling) and Marjorie Grant (equestrian endurance riding).
The Kyokushin Karate Club received £400.
