Dundee’s ‘secret millionaire’
An unclaimed lottery ticket bought in Dundee has left one local a “secret millionaire”.
The hunt is on for the person who bought a brief with a winning EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker code ahead of the draw on Tuesday November 14.
The winner has yet to come forward and claim the £1 million prize, and National Lottery is urging people to “check and double-check” the unique codes printed on their lottery slips.
The winning prize was for the EuroMillions Millionaire Maker sequence TZFN 99040.
The ticket holder has until May 13 2018 to claim their cash.
If no one comes forward then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go towards National Lotteryfunded projects across the UK.
National Lottery’s Andy Carter said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings.
“This amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.
“We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old EuroMillions tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding, so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club,” he added.
