Appeal following assault
A 46-year-old-man was seriously injured in an assault in Renfrewshire.
The incident happened at 7.50am on Saturday on Netherhill Road, Paisley, when he was approached by a man and woman and kicked and punched “multiple” times.
He is being treated for serious injuries at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
The male assailant is described as in his mid-20s, a slim 5ft 10, with short, dark brown hair. He was wearing a grey-and-black Boss tracksuit.
The woman was in her early 20s, a slim 5ft 6, with long, dark brown hair. She was wearing a pink zip-up top and black leggings.
Police are appealing for help with their inquiries.
