No warm-up for busy Wanderers
The first division of the National League makes a slow start due to Scotland’s participation in Portugal so Menzieshill have yet to play.
Not so for Dundee Wanderers, who will play twice this weekend.
Wanderers will be keen to follow up their good start against Stepps with two more victories over Inverleith and Aberdeen Grammar tomorrow in their bid to bounce straight back to Division 1.
Perthshire made a great start against Falkirk and must repeat that form against Carnegie, who also began with a win over Inverleith.
Perthshire’s high scoring form should see them through, in addition to home advantage for the second game.
Menzieshill II are again away as they start their Central Division 2 programme but that should not prevent them from recording their second win.
Dundee Wanderers II entered the Central League in Division 2 last season but that has been disbanded by due to a fall in numbers.
Fortunately, Wanderers II have been accommodated in Midland Division 1, but that may not be the preparation they had hoped for.
Their first game will be a week tomorrow as other teams make fresh arrangements to accommodate the Wanderers team.
