Fife man is ac­cused of ha­rass­ing neigh­bours

A man has been charged with in­flict­ing a cam­paign of ha­rass­ment on his neigh­bours.

Grant An­der­son, 62, is al­leged to have en­gaged in a course of con­duct that caused John and Laura Turner fear and alarm be­tween April 7 2017 and May 11 2018.

He is al­leged to have re­peat­edly left gates open and parked mo­tor ve­hi­cles on their land.

He is also said to have de­posited rub­ble and poured con­crete on their land.

Pros­e­cu­tors fur­ther al­lege An­der­son drove on their land in an in­con­sid­er­ate man­ner and re­peat­edly loi­tered, look­ing at the cou­ple.

A sec­ond charge al­leges that on April 30, he be­haved in a threat­en­ing and abu­sive man­ner likely to cause fear and alarm by driv­ing a Fiat Doblo van at ex­ces­sive speed to­wards Laura Turner.

He is then ac­cused of stop­ping close to her and driv­ing too close to her.

An­der­son, of Cu­par Road, New­burgh, did not en­ter a plea to the charges.

Sher­iff Alastair Brown con­tin­ued the case un­til later this month.
