Forfar complete signing of keeper Hill

FORFAR ATHLETIC last night completed the signing of experienced goalkeeper Darren Hill.

He has penned an 18-month contract with Dick Campbell’s side, having been released by Arbroath earlier in the week.

The 31 - year- old Falkirk- based custodian goes straight into Campbell’s pool for the visit to his former employers tomorrow.

Hill spent five years at Gayfield, playing more than 180 games as he helped Paul Sheerin’s side win the Third Division championship in 2010-11.

Youngster Jack Hamilton, who has been the Loons’ first-choice keeper in recent weeks, is due to return to parent club Hearts early next month following his loan spell.

The signing of Hill comes 24 hours after Forfar sealed a loan move for Aberdeen midfielder Jordon Brown.
