Young players team up to help food charity
ROSYTH TEENAGE footballers teamed up last night to score some food to help out hungry Fifers.
Players from Rosyth Carnegie 17s took part in a food collection drive that would help fill the shelves of Dunfermline Foodbank.
The collection took place before their Forth Valley League clash against Cowie at Rosyth Public Park.
Coach David O‘Donnell said: “I said to the guys that they are very fortunate that they have coaches and parents who are there to help the team and there is many more people less fortunate out there who are struggling.
“Myself, my son and the club captain went down to the distribution centre to donate the food and they are always very grateful to receive donations.”
