Women’s beer-tasting group launched
WOMEN RAISED a glass to a new St Andrews group last night.
Lucy Keen has started a beer-tasting group for aficionados of ale as part of the StAndrews Brewing Company Brew Pub.
Called femALE, the idea is to break down stereotypes about beer being all about guys with beards and big bellies.
Last night saw the first tasting and meeting session.
Lucy is a student but pointed out femALE was not a student organisation and she expected half of those attending to be non-students.
