Full contract reward for under-19 Loons

FORFAR HAVE rewarded three of the Station Park club’s under-19 squad with professional contracts for next season.

Paul McLellan is the youngest of the trio at 18 and he has signed on after two substitute appearances this season.

Craig Smith, 19, scored the winning penalty in a Scottish Cup shoot-out with Brechin, and Liam Keiller, 19, was involved with the f irst team in Saturday’s 4-2 win over Ayr United.

Manager Dick Campbell said: “I am pleased to bring the boys on board fully.

“I have watched them in training every week and seen how they have conducted themselves around the first team.

“I am sure their step up will be a boost to other players in the club’s youth department.”
