Super League

Kelty Hearts face the first of three “cup finals” if they are to take the Super League title. Tam Court’s side are three wins away from the finishing line, but opponents Bo’ness must win if their title hopes are to remain alive. With Sean Grady back from injury, Craig O’Reilly is the Fifers’ only absentee. Carnoustie Panmure visit Hill of Beath desperate for points to escape the drop zone. Currently a point off Lochee United, they do have three games in hand on the Bluebells. Their hosts posted an impressive win at Penicuik last week and are formidable opposition. The Fife side will be without Darrin Wright and Riki Dair. Euan Buggins, Neal Ferrie and Chris MacPherson are all doubts for Alan McSkimming. The Gowfers have lodged a protest against the result of last Saturday’s D J Laing East of Scotland Cup quarter-final, from which Broxburn Athletic progressed 3-2. Lochee United boss Steven Leahy has set his side a target of seven points from their three remaining games, the first of which is at home to Sauchie, to give them a chance of staying up. Bluebells will be without Jon Voigt and striker Pat Martin.

St Andrews’ midweek win at Glenrothes has taken Phil Maguire’s men to the brink of a Super League return. Two wins from their five remaining games will guarantee promotion and they hope to get the first of them when Jeanfield Swifts check in at The Park. Kamila Kadela is back in contention, but Jamie Mackie is still suspended. With several players doubtful, Swifts gaffer Andy Heggie will wait before announcing his selection. Having taken only four points from three successive home games, Tayport boss Dave Baikie is looking for improvement as they head to Arniston in their quest for one of the two automatic promotion places. “The desire shown at St Andrews, Forfar and Dalkeith just hasn’t been there of late and we need to get that commitment and work-rate back against Arniston,” Baikie said. Tayport’s Kris Rollo starts a two-match ban. Dundonald Bluebell head for Oakley for what is a must-win game against their Fife rivals if they are to keep their promotion hopes alive. Matching their hosts’ work-rate could be key to success. However, with Jason Quinn and Aiden Hendry suspended, and Lewis Elder and Jamie Gilfillan injured, their options are limited – although they do welcome back Mark Forbes and Lyall Shaw. After back-to-back away wins at Tayport and Violet, Broughty’s hopes of a play-off place have improved, and now boss Keith Gibson is looking to make it a hat-trick of wins over relegation-threatened Glenrothes. The only doubt for the Fed is Ryan Dignan, who has a sprained ankle. After three successive defeats, the Glens have slipped back into the drop zone, and with only four games remaining their plight is perilous. They do welcome back Iain Griffin, but Calum Kinnes is out and striker Charlie Scarborough is doubtful. Forfar West End host Kinnoull without injured defender Derek Patterson and suspended Craig Bell. In addition to the missing Lee Bloomer and Rhys Davies, Liam Wooley is a doubt for Kinnoull. After picking up a fine away result at Tayport in midweek, Montrose Roselea are unlikely to show many changes for the visit of Violet. The Pansies will be without injured pair fullback Leigh Esposito and central defender Jamie Sime. North End desperately need a win at Edinburgh United, who are on an even worse run of form. Dokens boss Dave Martin hopes to have everyone available bar the influential Barry McNaughton who is suspended.
