Remember Rocky looks a contender

-

Glenfarg trainer Lucy Normile is represented in Hamilton’s feature race on their seven-race card this evening with the Byrne Racing-owned Remember Rocky.

The Scottish Trophy Handicap over one mile one furlong has £12,000 in prize money on offer to the 14 runners.

Normile’s course and distance winner was third on his last start at Carlisle on August 3 with Megan Carberry in the saddle but Keagan Latham takes the ride this time.

Carberry partners the Linda Perra-trained Silver Rime – also a winner last time over a mile. Perratt is also represented by Stentorian, who reverts to the flat after a fall over hurdles at Wetherby in May.

Ayrshire-based Mike Smith goes for a double with Haymarket and Garry Whiilans, after their short-head success at Ayr over a mile and two earlier this month.

Eric Alston and Neil Farley bid for a treble with course and distance winner Lord Franklin after wins at Hamilton and Wetherby.

Piccadily Jim from the Richard Fahey yard, second behind Lord Franklin in the Hamilton race, take their chance again.

Irish raider Krissy’s Kisses drops back in trip to compete while Micky Hammond’s Diddy Eric and the Jim Goldie-trained Latin Rebel have both been placed on their last three starts and are likely to be in the shake-up again.
