All Good presents Do Not Sleep Ibiza resident Sante at the Reading Rooms tonight.

Sante has garnered a fantastic reputation in the house/techno scene, as well as being known for his incredibly versatile sound.

Residents Jamie Daw, Scott Williams and Van Damn will be warming up the main room, with North East’s Calving Sylvester and Nathan Bell in the bar.

Advance tickets are £12 from Resident Adviser, or it’s £15 on the door.

There’s the usual mix of 50s and 60s rock ‘n’roll, soul, pop, surf, garage, rockabilly and more at Locarno tomorrow.

Gates open at 10.30pm and entry is £5 before midnight, £7 after.

Ringer kick off the weekend at Clarks tonight with melodic rock and power pop.

Tomorrow it’s local legends Tripper.

Both start at about 9.30pm, with free entry before midnight.

The Jazz Lunch is on Sunday from 3pm, before Born to Bluegrass at 7pm.

Thursday’s Pre Production welcomes Tripper, Ringer and Revolver for another Come Together night, celebratin­g the music of The Beatles.

Tickets are £5 from the bar.

Players are welcome at Sci-Fi Jim’s Folk Jam tonight at Number 57. That starts at 9.30pm.

Tomorrow’s teatime session features Tripper from 5.30pm, before Hustler take over at 9.30pm.

Ringer are in their usual Sunday slot at 6.30pm.

The Bank Bar has Huge Mouse tonight at 9.30pm, then tomorrow it’s The Broon Troot Orchestra at the same time.

Songwriter­s Sunday is hosted by Gavin McGinty and Stella Reilly from 7.30pm.

Dave Webster’s open mic is on Wednesday at 8.30pm.

The Royal Tay Yacht Club in Broughty Ferry hosts the Alba Real Ale Festival this weekend, featuring a host of local performers from tonight, with Rock Bottom followed by Cherry Bombz.

Tomorrow will include some jazz from the Sellars Brothers, followed by some great acoustic sounds from Billy Mitchell, 70s rock from Tonka, yacht rockers (appropriat­ely) Miami Vince and they’re followed by The Mess Arounds.

Sunday will start with the Funkin Idiots and their very own style of rock, funk and soul, followed by some rock ‘n’ roll with judicial soul from Judge Hardie & The Crimes.

A main stage highlight is six-piece pop and soul funk-tion band Burlesque and the festival finishes off with cover band Tarpaulin.

Cherry Bombz also play Alison’s Bar and Function Suite on Sunday at 5pm.

McDaniels has Buck Rogers tomorrow from 9.30pm.

Acoustic Dundee three-piece The Arcades cover classic songs from the 70s through to the present day at The Green Room in Perth tonight.

Also playing will be Steven Barclay and Amy Rayner.

Doors open at 9pm and entry is free.

Tomorrow it’s alt-rocker Twin Heart, with support from The Smokin’ Bugler Band.

Open mic night on Monday is hosted by Mikey from The Carloways.

Perth’s Patsy Reid will be performing her special Fringe show on Tuesday.

The award-winning fiddler will be accompanie­d by a superb band of Alistair Iain Paterson, Signy Jakobsdott­ir and Ewan MacPherson as they warm up for Patsy’s solo Fringe debut the following night.

Five-piece indie rock ‘n’roll ska band from Dundee, The Un-Romantics, release their new EP at Buskers tonight.

They’re supported by The Bar Dogs, Maxwell’s Dead and Sahara and the late-night covers slot is filled by Superchill.

Tickets are available from TicketWeb, Groucho’s or the venue at £4 in advance, or £5 on the door until midnight – thereafter it’s £3.50 entry.

Tomorrow night, the ever wonderful Fat Goth are back for an increasing­ly rare hometown gig.

In a superb all-round line-up, they’re supported by Robot Doctors and Wojtek, followed by Buffalo Soldiers until 2.30am.

Tickets are £4 on the door and also available from the bands in advance.
