ROTARY John Dixon of Georgian Antiques in Edinburgh gave a talk and valuation quiz to Kilrymont St Andrews Rotary Club members and guests at its latest meeting. BOTANIC GARDEN The Friends of St Andrews Botanic Garden will host its next lecture at 7.30pm today at the chemistry department of St Andrews University, North Haugh.
Guest speaker Peter Baxter will talk about Benmore Botanic Garden. COFFEE MORNING Tuesday coffee mornings have returned to High Valleyfield Church from 10am to noon. All are welcome. CHRISTMAS LIGHTS Townhill Community Council’s Christmas event and lights switch-on was a sell-out and the council thanks all who made it a success.
Proceeds go towards the purchase of cycles for the local primary school’s Bikeability training. CONCERT Fife Electronic Organ Society welcomes Brett Wales to its next concert in St Columba’s Church in Glenrothes at 7pm tomorrow. Doors open at 6.35pm. KIRKCALDY GALLERIES The Friends of Kirkcaldy Galleries are pleased that Alison Kinnaird, whose glass installation is on show in the Galleries until January 8, will give a presentation on her work at 2pm tomorrow in the Galleries’ activities room.
