Perfect time to plan for great show

-

The dark days of January can seem downright dull after the sparkle and fun of the festive season.

That’s why this is a great time to look ahead and get some entertainment booked for the coming months.

Having a few nights out or day trips to look forward to will help you get through the wintry weeks.

Why not get together with some family members or friends to go to the theatre or a show?

It’s all too easy to let the weeks and months slip by without managing to catch up with the people we love to spend time with, so get some dates in the diary now and you won’t find everyone is too busy a few months down the line.

Look out for concerts and tours from your favourite bands and musicians, as many will sell out fast.

You might like the idea of heading to the big smoke for a theatre trip and a spot of shopping or even making it a weekend away by booking into a hotel or self-catering apartment.

It’s great to have a break to look forward to and there is no time like present to start planning.

If you are thinking of travelling to see a show or concert or have a mini break, why not leave the driving to someone else and book a minibus? Then all you have to do is concentrate on relaxing and having fun.

Closer to home the theatres and concert halls will already have some great events lined up.

Companies such as the Thomson Leng Youth Music Theatre have wonderful performances planned such as Bugsy Malone, which will be performed in the Whitehall Theatre, Dundee, from May 4-6.

As we head into summer, Grease will be the word as the company brings its version of the much-loved musical set in the 1950s to the Whitehall from June 29 to July 1.
