COMMUNITY CINEMA Buckhaven Community Cinema have announced that actor John Candy’s last film Canadian Bacon will be shown at Buckhaven Theatre on Monday June 19.

Doors open at 6.30pm and the programme includes refreshmen­ts. Entry is £3.

GUIDED TOURS There will be guided tours of the new Dunfermlin­e Carnegie Library and Galleries at 11am, 1pm and 3pm on Friday. Spaces are limited and to book call 01383 602365.

FOLK CLUB Dunfermlin­e Folk Club at the Monarch Bar welcomes Davy Lees, a former member of the Auld Howff Band, at 8pm tomorrow.

FRIENDS The Friends of Rymonth’s annual meeting will start at 8pm today in the girl guide hut, Greenside Place, St Andrews. Rymonth is a residentia­l unit which cares for adults with learning difficulti­es. All welcome.

ABBEY CAFE Culross Abbey is open for the season from 11am to 4pm daily, except Monday. It will open on Monday May 29 to cater for visitors to an exhibition.

CROQUET Fife Croquet Club plays on the lower lawn at the Hill of Tarvit mansion house and anyone interested in joining in will be made welcome. It plays from 12.50-3.45pm on Thursdays until the end of October and from 6-8.15pm on Tuesdays until the end of August. For details call Mike Sawyer on 01382 542311.

BOOKS Sustainabl­e Cupar’s book club meets at 7pm tomorrow in Sean’s Cafe, Lady Wynd. The group will discuss The Living Mountain by Nan Shepherd.
