Encouragin­g signs of recovery shown in Fife housing market

The property market in Fife is showing signs of recovery according to ESPC.

ESPC, one of the leading property experts in the country, said there is year-on-year increases in the number of homes being brought to market and the number of homes being sold in Fife and the Lothians.

The average selling price of properties in east central Scotland increased by 7.4% over the last three months.

In addition the number of homes sold in the area between June and August 2017 increased by 5.9% annually.

Meanwhile, the average selling time is 18.4% faster when compared to the same threemonth period a year ago – from 21 days down to 17 days.
