CBI Scotland makes new appointments

CBI Scotland has appointed a new chairman and vice-chairwoman.

Graham Hutcheon, managing director of group operations at Edrington, is the new chairman.

He has recently served as vice-chairman and will replace Alison McGregor, HSBC chief executive for Scotland, who has been in post since January 2015.

Debbie Crosbie, executive director and chief operating officer at CYBG, the owner of Clydesdale Bank, will replace Mr Hutcheon as vice-chairwoman.

The appointments follow CBI Scotland annual dinner, which was attended by more than 600 people.
