AHDB helps beef up trade with Hong Kong

AHDB showcased premium British beef, lamb, pork, sausages, ham and bacon at a major food and drink fair in Hong Kong.

The farm levy body was in attendance at the three-day Restaurant and Bar Hong Kong show, which attracts thousands of food and drink service professionals mainly from Hong Kong and Macau.

Defra farm minister George Eustice said attendance at the event offered a great opportunity for British meat producers to network with potential buyers and drive exports to Hong Kong, which are already worth more than £375 million.
