Enable on course for Arc

Enable remains firmly on course for a crack at the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe at Chantilly in October.

John Gosden’s all-conquering filly has looked imperious so far this season, running out a brilliant winner of the English and Irish Oaks before a scintillating performance against the boys in the King George at Ascot.

Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah, reported the filly to be in rude health ahead of her trip across the Channel.

He said: “I saw her last night and she was fine and relaxed and is on course for the Arc.”
