ROTARY: The Rotary Club of Kilrymont St Andrews heard from former schoolteac­her Grace Morris who got the members busy making some Christmas decoration­s.

She then led the group through her version of a school nativity play rehearsal.

GIDEON PRAYER MEETING: The next monthly prayer meeting of the West Fife Gideon Branch will be at the Christian Community Church in Paton Street Community Centre, Dunfermlin­e on Tuesday January 9 at 10am.

The Christian Community Church operates Tuesday and Friday cafés from 11am to 2pm and holds services every Sunday in Bellyeoman Community Centre at 11am.

The next service is on Sunday

January 7. The church also organises a children’s group on Fridays for primary school aged youngsters from 6pm to 7pm.

CIVIC SOCIETY QUIZ: What better way to make a good start to 2018 than a combinatio­n of physical and mental exercise?

Kirkcaldy Civic Society is hosting a town centre guided walkabout and fun illustrate­d local quiz, setting off from the Old Kirk on Tuesday at 2pm.

All are welcome and festive refreshmen­ts will be served.

KIDS CLUB: The Kids Club held at High Valleyfiel­d Church will resume sessions on Thursday after its Christmas break.
