Excellence for life in rural Perthshire
Nestled in the heart of the bustling country town of Crieff, Morrison’s Academy has long been making the most of its enviable location to enhance the education of every one of its pupils.
The school’s long tradition of academic success continues today with a contemporary Scottish curriculum and a programme of child-centred learning that builds emotional intelligence, creativity and life skills.
From nursery through to Advanced Higher, specialists in sports, languages, and creative and performing arts deliver a high standard of teaching in a growing range of subject choices.
Generations of Morrisonians have benefitted from this rich blend of academic, artistic and sporting experiences, going on to make their mark on the world as Olympians, scientists, award-winning actors, adventurers, politicians and professionals.
In 2017, pupils maintained a 96% SQA pass rate at Higher level, a 95% pass rate at Advanced Higher level and a 94% pass rate at National 5 (S4).
Several innovative programmes unique to Morrison’s Academy provide core experiential learning in relationships, health, careers and enterprise, drawing out independence and self-knowledge and building confidence, emotional intelligence and empathy.
The Morrison’s family extends beyond the current roll: former pupils and staff around the world are regularly involved in events, careers networking and overseas trips, and are always delighted to return to visit their alma mater’s beautiful campus.
The school is very easy to access, with excellent bus services from the Stirling, Dunblane, Auchterarder, Dunning, Bridge of Allan, Perth, Pitlochry and Aberfeldy areas.
