Ardvreck putting children’s happiness first

-

The greatest gift to any child is a fine education. The boys and girls at Ardvreck are offered a first-rate, all-round education with a myriad of activities and opportunities to enhance the school’s rigorous academic core.

In the last three years, all of the school’s pupils have gained entry into their first choice senior school and 50% of them won scholarships.

Set in the heart of rural Perthshire, Ardvreck has often been referred to as a “hidden gem”. Hiding among the trees of the school’s own forest, children learn to be children; to play, explore, become adventurers and then create their own stories. “Dens and dams” are the homes of games played at break that become memories for a lifetime.

Vitality, energy and happiness are qualities which form the essence of Ardvreck School.

Ardvreck’s children are nurtured by highly qualified and dedicated teachers who ensure that all pupils excel in every aspect of their education. Laughter is cherished, humour encouraged and happy children learn best.

Ardvreck values intellect and curiosity. Questions are encouraged, theories are challenged and thoughtful, confident children are the result. The sciences, languages, humanities and classics are all taught by specialist teachers.

From Montessori nursery through to taking entrance exams at 13, all Ardvreck children are encouraged and taught to play music, to express themselves artistically, to act on stage, to speak in public and to partake in team and individual sports.

An Ardvreck education is exciting, exacting and enriching, generating adventures in the classroom, on the games field, on a mountain, in a forest or on a loch.
