Bollan wants a bounce ahead of huge play-off

-

Cowdenbeath manager Gary Bollan is determined his side show they are not slipping back into bad habits when they host an in-form Annan side at Central Park.

The Blue Brazil went down 1-0 for the second weekend running when they lost at Berwick Rangers last Saturday and Bollan wants to ensure his men are on top form at both ends of the pitch ahead of facing either Cove Rangers or Spartans in the pyramid play-offs that start next weekend.

Bollan said: “Losing through missing chances and giving away soft goals can become a habit but hopefully we have caught it early this time and ensured that there will be no repeat.

“I want us to go back to the form we have been showing in the past month when we delivered wins over Elgin, Stenhousemuir and Clyde when we take on Annan.”

Bollan added: “We will make a few changes for this game as I want everyone to get the chance of being involved in what will be two huge games for the club starting next weekend.

“I also cannot take risks with anyone that is carrying an injury or is close to a suspension. However, I will be putting out a side that I believe is strong enough to win the game.

“Annan have had a couple of good results recently and have been scoring a good few goals, so this will be a test. One thing it will not be is an end of the season game as our season is far from over.”

Only Joe McGovern and Ryan Connelly are unavailable.
