MEETING ROOMS The former tenants’ meeting rooms on Bilsland Road, Glenrothes, has been sold by Fife Council to a local businessma­n for £30,000.

It is not yet known what the new buyer intends to do with the property.

FREUCHIE CRICKET CLUB There was a good turnout at the coffee morning which raised £650 for club funds.

Organisers have thanked all those who helped by selling tickets beforehand, those who helped on the day, those who donated items for the tombola, raffle and the sales table and everyone who attended.

TABLE TOP SALE The Friends of Tulliallan and Kincardine Parish Church will hold a table top sale from 10am to noon today in the Masonic Hall, Kincardine.

SPEAKERS CLUB Dunfermlin­e Speakers Club has held its last meeting of the session.

FRUIT WORKSHOP Greener Kirkcaldy is holding workshops to teach participan­ts about growing their own soft fruit at home from 10.30am to 12.30pm today in Ravenscrai­g walled garden in Kirkcaldy. It will be led by expert fruit grower and “apple treeman” Andrew Lear.

FAIR A spring craft fair will be held tomorrow from 10am to 4pm in the Montrave Hall, Lundin Links.

All welcome, there are no entrance fees, and teas, coffees and some home baking will be served in the back hall. To book contact 01333 320269.

QUIZ NIGHT Glenrothes and Area Heritage Centre is holding another of its popular quiz nights on Tuesday.

The fun begins at 7pm in the Heritage Centre, 18 Lyon Way, Kingdom Shopping Centre, Glenrothes.

Free to members, £3 for non-members. Everyone is welcome.
