Vandalised war memorial restored by community team
Workers have restored a Cowdenbeath war memorial which was set on fire by vandals.
The Safe in Fife team managed to clean the black marks off the statue after it was targeted by youths on Sunday.
Conservative councillor Darren Watt said he was “extremely proud” of their efforts.
“They have done a fantastic job cleaning up the Cowdenbeath WW1 memorial following recent vandalism,” he added.
