Bungee jump in aid of the elderly

-

A Fife care home manager has raised £1,300 for specialist sensory decor through a hair-raising bungee jump.

Residents at Balhousie Forth View Care Home in Methil have been enjoying an array of new equipment after Samantha Beattie complete the daring 160ft leap last month.

The funds paid for sensory items to help stimulate and improve the residents’ mood, as well as sprucing up the garden at the home.

Solar lights have been introduced, along with new wind chimes, butterflies, and ribbons for the sensory garden.

Sensory cushions, mood pillows and night projectors which help residents’ sleep have been added as well.
