Pafos move for former Dark Blues defender
Former Dundee defender Kevin Holt has signed for Cypriot club Pafos FC.
The full-back became a key player for the Dark Blues after joining the club in 2015.
However, the 25-year-old left Dens at the end of last season and has now moved to Cyprus with Pafos FC who are managed by former Falkirk boss Steven Pressley.
Another ex-team-mate of Holt’s at Dundee, keeper Jeremy Malherbe, has signed a two-year deal with Greek Super League side Panionios FC.
The Frenchman was snapped up by Neil McCann back in January after impressing on trial at Dens.
However, the 27-year-old never made an appearance for the first team and was not offered a new contract at the end of last season.
Meanwhile, Dundee, who have been linked with a possible move for veteran former Rangers and Scotland striker Kenny Miller, will play their second pre-season friendly against Cowdenbeath at Central Park on Monday, July 2, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
The Dark Blues open their preparations for the new campaign against Brechin at the Glebe the previous Friday, with the competitive action beginning in the Betfred Cup at Stirling Albion on July 14.
