Insolvency firm opens Dundee office

Fife-based insolvency firm Dunedin Adisory has opened a new office in Dundee to help achieve ambitious growth targets.

The firm, run by Christine Convy and Jenn Stewart, specialise­s in personal and corporate insolvency, restructur­ing and recovery.

The office, which is based at the River Court building on Dundee’s waterfront, complement­s the firm’s establishe­d offices in Glenrothes and Glasgow.

An additional six members of staff will be recruited to join the current team of 30 people over the next 12 months.

Director Jenn Stewart said: “We’re delighted to have opened our new office in Dundee, particular­ly when the city is currently undergoing such a welcome renaissanc­e. We’re looking forward to working with all our existing clients and contacts and to forming many new relationsh­ips, too.

“We already enjoy strong connection­s within the business and profession­al services community, and the new office enables us to be even more accessible.

“Having previously been based in Dundee for over a decade myself, I’m personally thrilled to be returning to the city.”

Dunedin Advisory has a Scotlandwi­de reach as one of only two companies appointed by the Scottish Government to deliver insolvency services on behalf of the Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB).

The company works with individual­s and business owners looking for solutions to financial pressures or an exit from their business.

Clients are advised on debt solutions, restructur­ing and insolvency, often working alongside their legal, banking or accountanc­y advisers.
