STARS IN THEIR EYES
As part of activities raising money for their free Christmas parties for local primary school children and senior citizens, the Fife United Inter Clubs Association will be holding a Stars In Their Eyes talent show in the Bowhill Hotel on Sunday starting at 2pm.
The event will feature an afternoon of nostalgia, which will be followed by karaoke in the main bar.
A large turnout is anticipated and everyone is invited to arrive early to be sure of a seat. There will also be a raffle.
Admission will be £3 at the door.
WALKING CLUB
Fife Walking Club holds its next walk at 10.30am tomorrow when it will take in a six-mile moderate hill walk from Culteuchar Hill, Forgandenny.

DYSART HARBOUR
Do you remember Dysart harbour in 2000?
The Dysart Trust has a new exhibition of evocative colour photographs of the harbour taken during the year 2000.
The display can be seen in Dysart Tolbooth which is open at the same time as the exhibition in the town hall from 2-4pm on Sunday afternoons in July and August.
Admission to the display and the exhibition is free.
FOREST GARDENING Greener Kirkcaldy is running an Introduction to Forest Gardening one-day course on Saturday August 4, from 10am-4pm, at the training allotment at Ravenscraig Walled Garden.
Forest gardening is a way of using natural ecosystems, a range of perennial plants and maximising vertical gardens to grow food sustainably and efficiently.
The course is run by Nenya Milne who is an Edinburghbased permaculture designer, teacher and gardener.
She has a special interest in forest gardening and unusual edible plants.
No experience is necessary to take part but booking is required.
