Myiah strides out for charity

Little Myiah Allan has walked almost 50 miles recently in aid of veteran charities Walking With The Wounded and Help for Heroes.

The six-year-old and her mum, Carlin Beaton, have been sponsored to walk a mile and a half to and from Goodlyburn Primary School, where she is a pupil, every day since the start of November.

Yesterday, as she neared the end of her challenge, she was joined by veteran George MacDuff and William Cairns of Walking With The Wounded.
