Hoofing it for equine charity
A seven-year-old with a love of horses ran five kilometres to help her favourite animals.
Rebecca Ferguson, of Dalgety Bay, raised over £200 in a Santa fun run at Loch Leven for equine welfare charity Brooke.
The youngster, who also has a fondness for donkeys, said: “I felt amazing after the race, I thought I would cry happy tears.
“It was amazing that I finished it and raised loads of money for the donkeys and horses, plus it was so fun.”
The international charity improves the lives of working horses, donkeys and mules in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
