Bishop to perform Christmas day service at Episcopal church

The recently installed Bishop of the Diocese of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane in the Scottish Episcopal Church will take this year’s Christmas Day service at a Leven church.

The Right Rev Ian Paton will perform the eucharist at St Margaret’s Church in Victoria Road.

The congregation’s licensed lay reader, Ian Scott, is currently looking after the church, which has been without a priest in charge since it went to vacancy some years ago.

Mr Scott said he was delighted with the bishop’s support for congregations across his diocese.

Members of the public are welcome at the service, which will take place at 10.30am on Christmas Day.
