Camilla’s grandchild aided by air ambulance
The Duchess of Cornwall has revealed one of her grandchildren was rushed to hospital in an air ambulance following an emergency call.
Camilla opened Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s new airbase and told staff and guests she had seen first-hand the work of flying paramedics.
The duchess explained that her granddaughter was “fine” after the incident, which took place in Yorkshire.
She did not name the girl but it is thought to be her granddaughter Eliza as she mentioned that her daughter Laura Lopes, the child’s mother, joined the youngster in the helicopter.
